The Australian Embassy photography competition is now closed. Thanks to over 90 photographers who submitted their photos. The judging process will commence shortly and we will contact prize winners in coming weeks.

To enter, simply submit a picture that tells the world:

WHAT YOU LOVE ABOUT TIMOR-LESTE
(it could be the beaches, the mountains, the people or anything else!)

... and you could win one of ten new digital cameras! 

How to enter:
  • Submit your photo file via email to: [email protected]
  • Entries close 4pm Friday, 24 October 2014
  • Include your full name, age, address and phone number so we can
    contact you if you are judged a finalist.
  • Attachments must not exceed 3 megabytes and we prefer .jpeg files
 
Competition Terms and Conditions:

- Competition is open to photographers of all ages, genders and nationalities.
- Australian Embassy staff and their immediate family members are not permitted to enter.
- Entrants must submit a clear digital photograph with a maximum of 3 megabytes. Larger file sizes and resolution may be sought by competition managers in future.
- Entries will not be accepted after 4pm Friday, 24 October 2014.
- The Embassy will accept a maximum of three photographs per individual.
- Entries must be your own, original work and not the work of others.
- The Embassy will not accept photographs that have been previously submitted to competitions or have won in any local or international photography contest.
- Photographs must have been created in the last 12 months.
- Only winning entrants will be notified by telephone or email.
- Entrants grant permission to the Australian Embassy Dili to reproduce their photographs in promotional activities including the Embassy Facebook page, website, banners and publications.
- Prize winning photos will be judged by the Australian Embassy Dili. All decisions of the judgement panel are final and will not be reviewed.
- The Australian Embassy will not accept photographs that violate a person’s rights including, but not limited to copyright and privacy.
- The Australian Embassy will not accept inappropriate photographs deemed offensive, obscene, sexually explicit, or politically motivated content.
